Meet Tyler - Install

Today on our blog we are introducing our head installer, Tyler Levasseur. He has been with Hilltop since 2018.

A one-minute overview

Tyler was born in Virginia Beach and raised in St. Mary's County, Maryland. In his spare time, he likes playing and watching soccer. Tyler also enjoys spending time with his family. He just recently became a father to a beautiful baby girl!

What keeps you excited about being at Hilltop every day?

I never know what my day is going to look like when I walk into Hilltop. Because we do custom signage, everything we install is different. It would be boring if my job was the same thing over and over again. I also like the atmosphere at Hilltop. My coworkers are great and it's just an enjoyable place to be.

What is one of your favorite jobs you have worked on? Why?

One of my favorite jobs that I have worked on is the Slice House blade sign. It was the first creative sign I have worked on that has a lot of detail. It was cool to be apart of the fabrication process and installation.

What is your favorite type of sign to work with? Why?

My favorite type of sign to install is a raceway. They are very simple to install so they are always quick and easy. I feel very accomplished when we are able to install a sign so fast that we can move on to another install on the same day.

Favorite work snack?

Peanut Butter and Toast Crackers

How do you take your coffee?

Iced with hazelnut, cream, and sugar

What is something you wish you did more of? Why?

I wish I serviced more electronic message centers and other electrical signs. I like the aspects of helping customers and solving problems for them.
