Sculpting Magic Workshop

Last month, Mike traveled to British Columbia, Canada to attend Imagination Corporations Sculpting Magic Workshop at Sawatzky's world famous studio. The three day long course covered design, armature construction, shaping, sculpting in the detail and painting.

Following Dan, Peter and their crew, Mike was able to create a couple projects of his own. Mike welded a steel pencil rod and sculpted wood and stone pieces out of concrete. He also sculpted a lighthouse out of HDU, then added character with texture and sculpted epoxy, and painted the piece with a unique process.

Mike came back to work inspired with different principles and techniques to apply to future carved signage and themed projects!
